Paolo
Nessim.
Hi, I'm Paolo. I vibe code to ship things — apps, chrome extensions, trading engines, and the occasional robot.
I'm drawn to projects where you can't tell yet whether they'll turn into a product, a tool I keep for myself, or just something that taught me what to try next.

Research, robotics, and the client work that pays for it.
Research Intern at UMD CPSE
Building the vision pipeline for Magic Gambit v2, the lab's robotic chess system. Camera → board state → motion planning, all in real time.
CE Participant at NASA L'SPACE Mission Concept Academy
Designing a space mission with a multidisciplinary team — requirements through Preliminary Design Review. Engineering documents, technical reports, formal reviews.
HW/SW Engineer at UMD CPSE Summer Program
Built "ICantSee," a proof-of-concept assistive system using computer vision + haptic feedback for visually impaired users. Got invited back as a research intern.
Full-Stack Dev at Nessimworks
Production websites and web apps for small-business and nonprofit clients. Requirements, design, build, ship, support. React / Next.js / WordPress.
What's on the laptop. Built up over a few years — mostly stable. I switch slowly and only when something is clearly better.

Daily slow-internet — architecture, ephemera, beautiful obscurities.
Gym, bikes, and a song I've worn out this month.
